Hmmmm I think both for Drouin is an overpayment. We would also need to take salary back since Tampa is cap-strapped. Barrie + high pick for Drouin and someone that's on the books for another year or two. |

Yeah it's all Sakic's fault. Blame Sakic. He never even helped the Avs win any cups. We should have let the Rangers take him with the offer sheet back in 1997. What a terrible hockey player and even worse person.  |

I would be shocked if the Avs and Islanders didn't hook up with one of these 2 guys on a real blockbuster. The Isles are loaded with great prospects. Dal Colle, Barzal, HoSang, Pulock, Devon Toews, Bellows kid. A first round pick which I would imagine is in play and will probably fall somewhere between 8-14. Good young NHL players who could be made available. And a desperate GM that needs to make a splash I wouldn't be shocked if the Islanders overpaid for one of these guys |
